Lots of big words and very important sounding descriptions to wade through on this rather superb pot lid. Dunno about you lot, but not sure I'd want to use a tooth paste (or powder, in this instance) that's made from... checks notes... SOAP. Bet it foams up really well?

"Being the only dentifrice calculated to..." - marketing weasel words right there ;-)

Anyhoo - quite a hard one to find and a really fascinating piece of late Victorian period "packaging". It's in great condition, a couple of small chips on the flange and some wear around the outside of the rim being the only faults. No other chips or cracks. Comes with a base that is approximately the right size, but isn't original to the lid.

Lid measures 94mm in diameter.
