A vintage silver plate plaque for New Zealand Express Company that is mounted on a slab of pounamu greenstone jade. The plaque has images of ships and trains with wildlife, flags and the words "Safety" "Promptitude" "Economy". Jade measures 5.6cm x 7.9cm x 0.9cm. NZ Express, founded in Dunedin in 1867, had by 1920 opened offices in 11 New Zealand cities and provincial centres. Now Christchurch based container handlers, their core business is containers, predominately to and from the Lyttelton Port.

Items need to be paid for before collection via online banking or Trade Me Ping. We do not accept cash or eftpos payments. Our City Mission Op Shop on Barbadoes St is open for collections Mon - Sat, 10am - 4pm. Items are couriered Mon-Fri.

We can combine shipping. Please let us know that you would like combined postage via email when you win your first auction. Rural or RD deliveries incur an extra fee and we do not courier to PO Boxes!
