Notice to Climate Action Artist buyers. 100% of the sale price of the art goes directly to Lawyers for Climate Action NZ, ( a registered charity) and our Trade Me store is an effort by supporters for the Lawyers that give their time free to advocate for Climate issues in New Zealand. The artists ( and art owners) that have their work offered here are donating it totally to support the work of LCANZI. We call ourselves Supporters of Lawyers for Climate Action (SOLCA) and our one mission is to keep the expenses of LCANZI paid up. They are our great climate legal advocacy effort and we feel great supporting them. So when you buy art from our Trade Me store it goes directly to the litigation costs of protecting our environmental legacy we offer our tamariki. Please be generous with our effort and with our supporting artists that are donating their artwork to our effort. You can contact the artists directly as well on their websites provided. If you use the Ping function of Trade Me, your purchase is protected with their refund policy, so you have everything to gain with these purchases.
See https://www.lawyersforclimateaction.nz for more details about Lawyers for Climate Action NZ and see the other artwork that is available on this dedicated Trade Me Store. Purchases are tax deductible , as LCANZI is a registered New Zealand charitable organization.
Why to donate your art to CAAA art sellers. Calling all Creatives and art lovers! Here is a way to broaden the audience for your art and support climate action at the same time. Our Trade Me Store is a great way to have nature loving people connect with your artistic flare and add your art to their homes.
This is all in the service of supporting Lawyers for Climate Action NZ (LCANZI), a registered tax deductible charity. https://www.lawyersforclimateaction.nz/ They are doing great work in protecting our rights to a sustainable future climate.
They are a well-established group of over 300 lawyers that work without compensation to bring litigation forward in New Zealand to protect our environmental future in these critical times. This Trade Me auction site is set up to support the general expenses they have with filing fees, office expenses, and other expenses related to getting ready for court cases. The lawyers themselves work free.
We, supporters of LCANZI have put together this art auction site to both spread the word of their good work and generate funds needed to keep the ball rolling in their litigation. We are all unpaid volunteers and we invite artists to respond to the call of our natural heritage to offer up one or more works of art to be auctioned with all profits going to LCANZI. We call ourselves the 'Supporters of Lawyers for Climate Action NZ' and go by the shorthand of 'SOLCA'
How to donate your art: You pick a piece of your art that can be really any medium. You can add photographs of up to 20 images. You can write up a description of your art and yourself as an artist and there this can be up to 800 words. You can also direct people to your other art websites if they like what they see and you can sell your art to these new patrons as you normally would. We are happy you have the introduction through our efforts and we ask for nothing further. Just let us auction off one of your choice works and we are happy to broadcast your good talent to the world!
Once the auction runs its course, we will notify you that the art fee and your shipping fee is paid and you will box it up (or whatever is required) and ship it to the fortunate new owner at their cost. You can add a catalog of your art in the package, develop a relationship with your new patron and the wheels of commerce go around. We at SOLCA feel we can do well by both yourself and LCANZI and ultimately, the environment.
Using PING for payment. Note that Trade Me has a refund and protection policy for artworks that are paid for with their Ping online buying system. This protects your purchases for the art listed here. CAAA does not guarantee the transaction otherwise.
With that said, we encourage you to get cracking and get exposure while doing good for the environment! We are building our future with you.
