Similar in colour and appearance to American White Oak. Although both oaks are similar in tone, European Oak generally tends to be a little darker than American Oak. European Oak is a warm golden, honey colour whereas American Oak is subtly lighter with pinkish tones.

Prime oak has more linear grains, giving it a very uniform and intricate appeal without many flaws. This makes it perfect for bringing a sophisticated atmosphere.

Premium Character contains a healthy selection of natural knots. These boards tend to have more colour variation than Prime, the contrast of more varied grain patterns and more of the natural Oak features, making it our most popular of wood flooring grades.

Our natural Rustic Oak preserves the natural beauty of the oak resulting in a very rural but warming floor.

Our SECONDS packets are graded from our premium grade. Each board has a blemish, this could be: staining, machining marks, skip dressing, pinholes, cracking or multiple short lengths. Each packet varies and wastage differs on application
