My client has a technology business (bricks and clicks actually) with significant barriers to entry (contract, legal and IP barriers).
Currently NZ only. Could be replicated in other countries but we would generally recommend against this.
Because of the advancement in AI, despite a $35m turnover, this business can be run with virtually no staff (perhaps 4 senior channel managers and 3-4 mid-range staff) as all sales are online where customers self register and buy.
Current independent valuation NZD$50m. Vendor finance available to a suitable purchaser (you will need $5m plus to be considered for this though).
$21m EBITDA
$8m working capital required (over and above purchase price)
Operating in a now freshly mature industry that is at the start of a very high growth phase (a 10% shift of prospective customers from their existing purchase habits will create an additional $211m/year of new income to this business).
Vendor fully expects this business will double in value each year for the next 3 (bringing it to a circa $400m value then).
