AutoGrab Implementation

Trade Me’s AutoGrab tool has already been delivering business-changing data and insights into dealer’s stock and listings by accurately highlighting how these are positioned relative to the market. The speed at which a dealer can now price stock accurately and make important decisions has never been quicker and the feedback from the industry has been fantastic. Building on such positive uptake of AutoGrab in New Zealand, Trade Me are now adding two new features to add even more value.

AutoGrab Delisted Stock View

One of the new features is a “Delisted Stock View”. This tab provides insights on your vehicles at the time they delisted. This offers you a valuable snapshot of market environments at the time you delisted a particular car, it enables you to track not only the historic delisted price, but also the last known Listing Performance Rating, market days supply and average time to sell. While Autograb’s My Listings has always allowed you to see how your current stock performs against the market, now you can compare historic delisted stock as a gauge on past market conditions to inform your next buying decision. You don’t need to rely on gut instinct, if the last example you sold took a short time to sell, you can view the competitive market at that time and determine if conditions today are comparable.

AutoGrab Assigned User View

AutoGrab’s Assigned User View allows you to see and track what personnel were responsible for purchasing your stock. This benefits those operations that may have multiple people responsible for either purchasing / pricing stock or creating your vehicle listings online. Being able to track the performance of various listings relative to those stakeholders may showcase trends within your business you need to address. It enables you to ensure all staff are buying, pricing and listing your stock correctly to optimise your time to sell and your profit.
