Up for consideration is this highly collectable early Stag Ka-Bar folding Hunter. The earlier Ka-Bar Stag knives are very collectable in the States, I purchased this Knife quite some time ago when I was collecting earlier larger Folders.

This Knife has had use, and has marks on the Blades but these are superficial marks and most typical of a Vintage. This Vintage is in extremely nice condition, it has not been cleaned by me and I am not sure that it has ever been cleaned, it's such a nice example. This has been in storage for over the past decade +.

The Stag is of High Quality, the Walk and Talk of the Knife's Blades is superb, there is NO blade play whatsoever. The Clip Blade being the main Blade and the Trapper Styled secondary are in very nice shape. The Bolsters and Caps are Nickle Silver and are in very nice shape.

If you look at this knife the blades joints are "sunken" which means the square end of the tang sit inside the Bolsters and this makes it a kind pocket carry.

Ka-Bar in the States have have a huge following and these knives are, as I mentioned, highly collectable, this is a very nice "honest" knife.

Closed length is just over 5& 1/4 inches, with the 9 & 1/2 inches long, I have never owned a Sheath for this Knife so therefore doe not come with one.

APOLOGIES: To the bidder and watchers, as I removed the last auction of this knife. I needed to totally adjust the price, but could not do this with the existing bid ( that hadn't reached the reserve). I did contact the bidder to ask him if he minded and explained and he was fine with that. I priced this originally in comparison to the offers I have had from my knife friends overseas, but the expense in sending it over now and the risk just isn't worth the worry. I am just going to let the auction run at $1 no reserve.
